Speaking to journalist after the meeting about the challenge that Romania faces to use all the EU investments in this period, Commissioner Hahn said, "it is my job to be impatient". But he added, "There is clear and considerable progress".

Commissioner Hahn said he was confident that the Romanian authorities are very clear about what needs to be done and he praised the minister for their constructive partnership in dealing with the challenges and planning for the future. At the meeting Minister Teodorovici confirmed that a "mature" draft of Romania's plans on how to use the funds in the next period will be send to the Commission by the end of the month.
