In Serbia appreciating courageous decisions about EU future
Belgrade (26th April) - Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle visited Belgrade to appreciate the recent positive developments on Serbia's path towards the European Union and the steps taken by the Serbian partners in this regard. He met with Prime Minister Ivica Dačić, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Suzana Grubješić and representatives of the Ministry of Justice. Later on Friday Commissioner Füle will hold talks with President Tomislav Nikolić and will meet also representatives of the opposition. In Belgrade he also opened the conference on strenghtening the rule of law, judiciary and fight against corruption, which was organised jointly with the Council of Europe with the aim to help Serbia advancing the necessary changes and reforms in these areas.
