Commissioner Andor visits Spain

Commissioner László Andor took part in a Spanish Presidency Conference on 'Posting of Workers and Labour Rights' in Oviedo on 17-18 March.
He confirmed that a legislative proposal to ensure better implementation and enforcement of EU rules on the posting of workers will be presented by the European Commission within one year. At least one and a half million workers in the EU are affected by the posting of workers each year.
Mr Andor also had the opportunity to visit a European Social Fund project during his mission to Spain. The project, which is run by the Fundaciòn Laboral de la Construcción, provides training for 16-18 year olds who are in danger of dropping out of education.
