12 December 2012 Climate Change Committee to discuss main elements of future amendment to EU ETS registry rules tomorrow

The Climate Change Committee, at its meeting of 13 December, will discuss the main features of a forthcoming amendment to the Regulation governing the registry infrastructure underpinning the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). However, the European Commission will not be presenting any formal proposal at this meeting. A further regulatory update will be published tomorrow summarising the debate and next steps.
