06 October 2011 Aviation into the EU ETS: Connie Hedegaard "glad to see that the EU Directive is fully compatible with international law"

In response to the Advocate General's opinion in case C-366/10 (The Air Transport Association of America and Others), Connie Hedegaard has made the following statement: "I am glad to see that the Advocate General's opinion concludes that the EU Directive is fully compatible with international law. The EU reaffirms its wish to engage constructively with third countries during the implementation of this legislation."
