01 December 2010 Mobilisation of fast start funding of € 2.2 billion to support developing countries
During the UN Climate Conference in Cancún (29 November-10 December), the EU has given a full and transparent report on its delivery of 'fast start' funding to support developing countries.
In 2010, the EU has mobilised fast start funding of € 2.2 billion to support developing countries' efforts to adapt to and mitigate climate change as part of the EU's overall commitment to provide € 7.2 billion for the period 2010-2012.
