Ministry of the Environment, Room 1.150

The European Commission will present its January 2014 proposal for a framework for EU climate and energy policy from 2020 to 2030, including 2030 targets for greenhouse gas emissions and renewable energy. The EU’s experience with preparing and providing transparent and robust information to stakeholders and policy makers will also be discussed.

HFCs: Low-Cost Opportunities for High-Impact Emission Reductions

11 June, 18:00 - 20:00

Ministry of the Environment, Room 1.150

This event will highlight the many opportunities to take effective action on HFCs as suitable  and affordable alternatives are readily available for many sectors where these gases are used. The event will examine the technical options available today, how policies can bring about significant emission reductions and what approaches are promising, in particular for the needs of developing countries.
