The Commission preserves the open relationship with special interest groups ensuring them equal treatment.
The Commission's lineof conduct with regard to interest groups was officially expressed by the Commission in 1992 in a Communication "An open and structured dialogue between the Commission and special interest groups". (OJC 63 of 5/3/1993)
