How to find a Commission document?
Are you looking for a Commission document? Check first if it has been published and if it is already accessible on-line. The transparency policy and the web technology have greatly contributed to the increase in the number and categories of documents accessible on-line today.
A look in the information systems EUR-Lex might help you. There you can find the complete collections of EU legal texts in all the official languages,
A look in the registers of documents of the Commission is also worthwhile. The aim of the register of internal documents, in particular, is to inform you of the existence of the most important documents produced by the Commission.
Also look on the DGs’ websites on Europa where you will find masses of documents online.
If you still do not find what you are looking for, fill in a form and send the request to the Commission (follow the link and go to the last page of the document to access the form) 
. In accordance with Regulation 1049/2001 on public access to documents, you will receive a reply within 15 working days.
