Memory of the Romanian Deportations
The Project ‘The memory of the Romanian Deportations’involved the representatives of the generations of the deportation survivors, of the victims of the totalitarian communist regime, but also representatives of the young generation, those who had to build and consolidate a society based on the democratic values promoted by the European Union.
To remember not to happen again
The project aims were to create deeper understanding about the Holocaust as a tragedy for the whole Europe and to foster tolerance and respect; to raise awareness and promote understanding about Jewish culture, traditions and history, to preserve memorial and to foster intercultural dialogue.
