In order to promote the Europe for Citizens Programme in Portugal, an Info-day on 6 November 2012  will take place in Lisbon.

The info-day will feature presentations on the current and future Europe for Citizens Programme and on the European Year of Citizens 2013. The presentations on the current Europe for Citizens Programme will include an overview of the Portuguese participation in the Programme, 2 examples of successful Portuguese projects co-funded by Programme and a practical session focusing on funding opportunities, preparing successful applications, finding the right partners, matching the eligibility criteria and knowing the rules of implementation and selection.

The info-day will be organised by the Cultural Strategy, Planning and Assessment Bureau of the Portuguese Secretary of State for Culture, which represents Portugal in the Management Committee of the Programme, in cooperation with the Jacques Delors European Information Centre, the European Commission, the Culture, Education and Audiovisual Executive Agency and the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal.
