Subject-matter: Iarraimid ar an Choimisiún Eorpach reachtaíocht a mholadh chun an ceart atá ag cách ar uisce agus ar shláintíocht a chur i bhfeidhm, arna aithint ag na Náisiúin Aontaithe, agus chun soláthar uisce agus na sláintíochta a chur chun cinn mar sheirbhísí riachtanacha poiblí do chách.
Main objectives: Ba chóir go gcuirfeadh an reachtaíocht AE de cheangal ar rialtais uisce óil glan leordhóthanach agus sláintíocht a chinntiú agus a chur ar fáil do gach uile shaoránach. Molaimid: 1. Go gcuirfear de cheangal ar institiúidí agus ar Bhallstáit den AE a chinntiú go bhfuil rochtain ag gach áitritheoir ar uisce agus ar shláintíocht. 2. Nach mbeidh an soláthar uisce agus bainistiú na n-acmhainní uisce faoi réir 'rialacha inmheánacha margaidh’ agus nach léirscaoilfear seirbhísí uisce. 3. Go méadóidh an AE a chuid iarrachtaí chun an t-uisce agus an tsláintíocht a chur ar fáil do chách.
