Subject-matter: F2020 doreşte să îmbunătățească promgramele de schimb la nivel european – ca Erasmus sau Serviciul European de Voluntariat (SEV) – pentru a contribui la crearea unei Europe unite bazate pe solidaritatea dintre cetățeni.
Main objectives: F2020 susține trei măsuri pentru îmbunătățirea mobilității: 1) Comisia Europeană trebuie să utilizeze fondurile europene într-o manieră consistentă pentru a încuraja mobilitatea. În acelaşi timp, aceasta va aloca fonduri sporite în viitor pentru programele de schimb. Astfel, 10 la sută din bugetul UE va fi utilizat pentru aceste programe. 2) Eforturile ar trebui intensificate pentru a le oferi participanților oportunitatea de a-şi dezvolta abilități interculturale, prin, de exemplu, cursuri lingvistice şi despre tradițiile, societatea, cultura, etc. a țării gazdă. 3) O mai eficientă monitorizare în ceea ce priveşte mobilitatea prin sondajele de opinie Eurostat sau Eurobarometru.
