RecruitmentThe Agency follows the personnel policy of the Staff Regulations applicable to European Institutions and bodies. The Council has adopted new Staff Regulations on 22 March 2004. The successful candidates will, therefore, be offered a post on the basis of these new Staff Regulations. Jobs at the CFCA are open to women and men, who are nationals of the EU Member States: There is no national quota system in operation but the Staff Regulations require to strive for a broad balance among nationalities. Candidates are recruited on the condition they have full rights as a citizen. Candidates must have fulfilled any obligations imposed on them by laws concerning military service and meet the character requirements for the duties involved. The Agency has at present a limited number of posts of permanent officials, and is to be staffed mainly by temporary agents recruited through open selection procedures. Recruitment follows the rules and practices of EU institutions and successful candidates are offered
The website, containing a notice of the open selection procedure, will give the conditions and essential requirements. Candidates must use the forms attached to the website and give the reference of the post for which they are applying. All material to be placed on candidates’ files must be submitted afresh: reference may not be made to earlier applications. All the questions on the form must be completed in full even if you attach a curriculum vitae.
