  27-28 February 2012

  2nd 'peer-to-peer' conference, focussing on the various systems currently in operation in the 27 EU countries.

• EU Multiannual Financial Framework 2014-2020 EN

  The future scope and impact of EU policies will largely depend on the shape of the next MFF, the details of which are now under discussion, on the basis of the European Commission's proposals submitted in June 2011. The conference explored how the Commission's proposals resonate with other EU institutions and with the Member States.

• Polish schools competition – "My Road to Europe starts at home"

  Secondary school pupils from Poland, working in teams, submitted essays and presentations addressing how EU funding has helped local projects and how it could do even more.

• Top 27 European projects

  Entrants voted on their favourite EU-funded project in each member country.

• Draft budget 2013 – outstanding commitments for ongoing projects

  Examples of projects launched during the current financial framework and their planned EU funding amounts in 2013, to reimburse the regional authorities and businesses that have invested.

• Simpler EU funding rules in 2014-20

  Examples of how the Commission is proposing to simplify the rules on EU funding for businesses, towns and regions, students, scientists, etc.
