Two events you really cannot miss!
2015 May 9: Opendoors of the European Commission
2015 May 10: European village, as part of the "IRIS Fête" [339 KB]
Come and celebrate with us the 65th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration! We invite you on Saturday, May 9 (10am – 6pm (doors will close at 5.30pm), for a new edition of the OPEN DOORS DAY OF THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION:
“EU IS WORKING FOR A STRONGER EUROPE IN THE WORLD”.
Visitors will be able to take a look behind the scenes of the nerve centre of the Commission: the Berlaymont building opens its doors to the public from 10am to 6pm (doors close at 5:30pm).
About 30 stands are divided throughout 5 villages representing the 5 main priorities of the Juncker Commission. 12.000 visitors are expected and will be able to discover Europe's most recent achievements.
Debates, expositions, quizz, projections, games, simulations and interactive activities will show Europe from another angle.
At the esplanade there's room for old and young, dedicated to the theme of Development.
An artistic programme [397 KB] with performers from 5 continents will animate the day (tango, hip hop, chinese traditional dance, bollywood dance, singing groups, etc.).
Do not forget that the party continues at the Schuman Roundabout, with the Bread Fest , where you will have the possibility to taste the whole of Europe in one single plate!
