Ecodriving (short version)
This new report illustrates the tips drivers should apply. Sparing use of air conditioning, frequent checks of tyre pressure and moving off without letting the engine idle are explained and illustrated in the report. It also describes in clear and practical terms the importance of anticipating traffic flow, shifting up quickly and reaching cruising speed as fast as possible. This advice is supervised by an EcoDriving instructor in Belgium. The report also includes statements by the President of the European Petroleum Industry Association and the enlightened opinion of Ari Vatanen, former world rally champion and today a Member of the European Parliament.
