On 24 April 2014, Connie Hedegaard, Member of the EC in charge of Climate Action visited China and attended in Beijing to the Low Carbon Leadership Network Event at the UN Compound. She also took part to a conference in the EU Delegation. Meetings discussed developments in climate action in Europe and China, opportunities for EU-China cooperation and perspectives for the global climate agreement to be adopted at the UN climate conference in Paris in 2015.
