Type: Report   Référence: I084626   Durée: 03:28  Lieu: Milan
On 9 December 2013, José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, went to Milan where he participated in the 2nd General Assembly of the "New Narrative for Europe" which focused on forms of imagination and thinking for Europe. This was the second assembly organised within the framework of the project "New Narrative for Europe" proposed by the EP and implemented by the EC following the call made by José Manuel Barroso in his State of the Union address in 2012.The goal of this initiative was to invite artists, writers, thinkers, scientists and cultural practitioners to come up with a vision of Europe that could reconnect European citizens to the process of building the European Union in the present and in the future.
