||Soundbite by Viviane Reding (in ENGLISH): His legacy will service in history but also in the minds and the hearts of many many people. We in the EU embody the values he has been fighting during his whole life. So I think it is very appropriate that we think of him as the one who embodies these values a whole life trough. In the moment of our minute of silence, ceremonial services are taking place in Johannesburg. You know that President Barroso is attending on behalf of the European Commission and we stand behind him and saying just "Thank you Mister Mandela that was a wonderful life and a wonderful example".
