On 2 October 2013, Olli Rehn, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro, attended the meeting of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) in Paris.
A the meeting, the Governing Council decided that the interest rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rates on the marginal lending facility and the deposit facility would remain unchanged at 0.50%, 1.00% and 0.00% respectively.
