While the debate on the future of Europe and the impact of the economic crisis grows in strength, the European Commission is to meet people in different European cities, to hear their concerns and expectations for the future. On this occasion, Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, travelled in Trieste on September 16 to debate with more than 500 citizens coming from Italy, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. The debate focused mainly on Europe's way out of the economic crisis, citizens' rights and the future of Europe. This video shows extracts of vox pops.
