Connie Hedegaard, Member of the EC in charge of Climate Action, attended the climate event "Communicating the obvious: How climate-friendly behaviour becomes a part of our everyday life", on 13 September 2013 in Copenhagen. The event took place in the Green Lighthouse, Denmark's first public carbon-neutral building, at the Copenhagen University Campus. The aim of the event, which is part of the communication campaign "A world you like. With a climate you like.", was to show how people can be encouraged to use sustainable solutions that are readily available. Connie Hedegaard and Olafur Eliasson, Danish visual artist, were keynote speakers. The event also included panel discussions and break-out sessions on specific sustainability communication projects.
