On 23 July, Evaldas Gustas, Lithuanian Minister of Economy, Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Industry, and Michel Barnier, Member of the EC in charge of Internal Market and Services, held the press conference of the Informal Competitiveness Council (Industry, Internal Market and Enterprise), in Vilnius. They underlined the need to strengthen the support to SME's which are the driving force of the EU economy. The Ministers discussed the way to improve administrative services to SME's and to reduce administrative expenditure. The Council also underlined the need to exchange information in the field of e-procurement in order to modernise Public Administration.
