On 27 June 2013, Günther Oettinger, Member of the EC in charge of Energy, participated in the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2013 in Brussels.
On this occasion, he gave an opening speech and highlighted the needs as regards energetic investments. He also stressed the importance of security supply and of a European approach towards storage and transport infrastructure.
