On 25 June 2013, Johannes Hahn, Member of the EC in charge of Regional Policy, received the visit of the Presidents of the Outermost Region at the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium.
On this occasion, he gave an opening speech and underlined the importance of making each of the outermost regions self-sufficient.
