Today, the Environment Council is due to adopt conclusions on the Commission communication "An EU strategy on adaptation to climate change". The Council will take note of a progress report on a draft directive on indirect land-use change amending the fuel quality and renewable energy directives, the aim of which is to minimise the impact of indirect changes of land use on greenhouse gas emissions. In the follow-up to the U Conference on Sustainable Development, the Council will hold an exchange of views on the links between the report of the U+ Secretary-General's High-Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the post-2015 development agenda and the elaboration of the Sustainable Development Goals. It will also endorse draft conclusions on the overarching post-2015 agenda, which will be adopted by the General Affairs Council on 25 June. Over lunch, ministers will hold a discussion on the marine strategy framework directive.

Theses conclusions will put in place the architectural Irish investment with adaptation measures, I suppose other measures there will be taken regarding the impact of the climate change. Secondly we will have a discussion on progress support on indirect land-use change and biofuel and on gases, those two files are making substantial progress under the presidency and it expect to be concluded in the Parliament in July and we have Rio+ 20 conclusions and draft as well to schedule with the colleagues and the over seas and development and ministers of Foreign Affairs, we are discussing to reach conclusions by the end of the month. 00:00:53
