On 4 May 2013, on the occasion of the JRC Open Day, Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, Member of the EC in charge of Research, Innovation and Science, together with Diana Bracco, Vice-President for Research and Innovation in Confindustria, and Dominique Ristori, Director-General of the Joint Research Centre (JRC), inaugurated of the JRC Visitors' Centre, in Ispra, Italy.
