Open Day at the EC 2013
Brussels - EC/Berlaymont
On 4 may 2013, on the occasion of the EU open door day 2013, Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, visited the different stands set up for the event. Under the theme of the European Year of citizens, the Europe Day 2013 allows all citizens to discover the concrete actions of the European Commission in the Berlaymont building and at the Schuman roundabout, in Brussels. Local EU offices in Europe and all over the world organise a variety of activities and events for all ages. Each year, thousands of people take part in visits, debates, concerts and other events to mark the day and raise awareness about the EU.
