This informal ministerial meeting (being held back-to-back with Environment Ministers informal meeting) will focus attention, looking forward to 2020 and beyond, on the application of new and developing technologies to boost energy efficiency and sustainability, in addition to improving energy market competition, energy system integration and consumer benefits. It will also focus on the ways in which the potential for green growth and energy efficiency can be realised throughout the European economy.
