||SOUNDBITE (in English) Simon Coveney, Minister for Agriculture, Marine and Food of Ireland: The progress, I think is good, the real willingness to discuss compromises and landing points, if you want to call them like that of final conclusions. But there will be points of difference of course and we will need in next months Council meeting in June to work with the Commissioners and the EU Parliament to try to find a common agreement. So that we can agree a political agreement on CAP reforms in the Council meeting in June, that is the ambition. I think we are on schedule to do that but it will involve a lot of work and the willingness on all sides to compromise and look for fair and balanced outcomes that take into account the different institutions and their concerns and in some cases red line issues.
||SOUNDBITE (in English) Dacian Ciolos, Member of the EC in charge of Agriculture and Rural Development: I underlined the fact that it is important in order to respect our agenda to have a political deal at the end of June. It is important that the Council also be able to have a dynamic contribution to the discussion in the trilogues and to be able to move in some things in order to be able to advance. The Commission is in this position, we want to have a constructive participation to this trilogues and I hope the Council will be able to do this.
