On 20 February 2013, Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Industry and Entrepreneurship, delivered a speech at the High Level Meeting on the LeaderSHIP 2020 initiative, a new strategy to increase the competitiveness of European maritime technology.
