The Joint Customs Operation (JCO) Barrel, organised by the Polish customs authorities together with the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), was carried out in October and November 2011 in a number of Member States and neighbouring countries along the EU Eastern border. It was the first operation that targeted the rail-freight smuggling of highly taxed goods via the EU's external frontiers. For the occasion, this video stockshots illustrates the work of the Polish customs authorities to fight against this scourge.
