European Parliament monitoring mission to Ukraine formed by Pat Cox, former President of the European Parliament, and Aleksander Kwaśniewski, former President of the Republic of Poland, were presented today, 13 November, to the Conference of Presidents its final report.
The vote scheduled in the Ukrainian Parliament, on which hangs the fate of both jailed opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko and Ukraine's EU hopes, has been cancelled.
Negotiations on an agreement that would allow Tymoshenko to leave the country for medical treatment have slowed down.
The EU has made of this a condition to sign the association agreement with Ukraine this month.
But Ukraine has come under intense pressure from Russia not to sign.
