00:00:05 SOUNDBITE, Martin SCHULZ, EP President (In English): It was a trilateral meeting between the Irish President, represented by Prime Minister Kenny, President Barroso for the Commisison and myself for the Parliament. I think we made some steps forward, but for sure not a solution or conclusion. Therefore, the Council must make steps in the direction of the Parliament, the Parliament must accept it. We should have a two-step approach to cover the deficit with two amending budgets but we want to see binding guarantees of the Council that they will fill the gap in the budget in 2013 and one thing is clear, we open now also the trialogue for the MFF, but nothing is agreed until everything is agreed, and therefore we have made some steps forward, it was a constructive atmosphere, but I hope that all the Member States - it depends not only on the Irish President, but also on all Member States -and my appeal is to all the Member States to contribute to compromises. 00:01:08
