||SOUNDBITE by Štefan Füle, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, (in ENGLISH) saying that he welcomes the deal on Ljubljanska Banka; firstly, it is good news for Slovenia, for Croatia and for the citizens of both countries; secondly, it is a good deal for enlargement because it clears the way and establishes optimal conditions for the ratification process to be concluded for Croatia to become the 28th Member State on 1 July 2013; thirdly, it is a very important and positive signal to the region because those two countries have shown yet again that the bilateral issues could and should be solved through negotiation if there is good will.
