||SOUNDBITE by Štefan Füle, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy (In English) saying that: I welcome that deal on Ljubljanska banka; I think this is good news for Slovenia, for Croatia and for the citizen of both countries. Second, I think it is a good deal for enlargement because it clears the way and establishes optimal conditions for the ratification process to be concluded for Croatia to become the 28th member state on the 1st July this year. Third, it is a very important and positive signal to the region because those 2 countries have shown, yet again that the bilateral issues could and should be solved trough the negotiation if there is good will.
