During a high level visit to Malawi on 7 March 2013, Andris Piebalgs, Member of the EC in charge of Development, and José Graziano da Silva, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, met with important stakeholders of the civil society and the private sector. They also had a meeting with Ken Lipenga, Malawian Minister for Finance, and held a joint press conference.
