The Youth Guarantee scheme is a proposal to fight against youth unemployment affecting our days to nearly one in four of the young Europeans. This measure proposes that all people under 25 years old should receive a quality offer of a job, continued education, an apprenticeship or a traineeship within four months of leaving formal education or becoming unemployed. The scheme would be financially supported by the European Social Fund and integrated into the employment policies of every member state according to its needs. Member states would also need to establish partnerships with stakeholders and ensure early intervention by employment services. Spain and Portugal are both respectively second and third in a rank of youth unemployment leaded by Greece. In Spain, 53.2% of young people are unemployed; country followed by Portugal, with a 37.7% of youth unemployment.
