The coins of 1, 2 and 5 cents are more useful than we think. With just 3 €, a hot plate of food can be offered to a poor citizen. The Food Banks of Belgium and the private Foundation of the BNP Paribas Fortis organized for a second year an activity, where people could offer the coins of 1, 2 and 5 cents in every agency of BNP.
The final amount of money collected this year is 83.000 Euro. In 2012, it was collected with the same initiative 1, 7 millions of coins, which means 42.000 €, that corresponds to 14.000 of hot plates of food, which were distributed to deprived citizens.
That infoclip illustrates step by step the whole procedure from the beginning when people offer the coins of 1, 2 and 5 cents until the end when food is provided to poor people.
