||Soundbite by Kristalina Georgieva (in ENGLISH): This space becomes smaller and smaller (speaking of humanitarian space) for example in Northern Mali – yes we succeed to bring some assistance but it is very limited because security is very bad – there is disrespect for the role of humanitarians and for international humanitarian law which means don't shoot at aid workers, don't kill doctors, but unfortunately this is happening and the result is instead of our help reaching into Northern Mali people run for safety in Burkina, in Niger and in Chad and sometimes violent groups go after them and that leads to moving refugee camps away from the borders – it makes help less accessible and it also makes it more expensive.
