And I confirm to the President of the Republic of Moldova that my visit here is a sign of our friendship and not only our friendship but our support, our encouragement to the (…) that Moldova has been making in term of relation with the European Union.
I said to the President, as I have already said to Prime Minister, to the President of the Parliament and Delegations of different parties, I made it clear that now the priority is the Association Agreement, different comprehensive Free Trade area and also the visa liberalization Programme.
I have acknowledged the very important progress made in recent years in this way of reforms, also the progress in negotiations of this agreement. I have encouraged the Moldovan Authorities to keep that commitment to these reforms and also their commitment to the European perspective of Moldova (12 shots)
