Soundbite by Antonio Tajani (in FRENCH) saying that he came to Morocco with a delegation of enterprise top managers in order to reinforce the industrial cooperation between Europe and Morocco, to promote Small and medium enterprises (SME). The signature of political agreements during the last two days will help them to intensify their collaboration. Moreover, the EU will keep bringing technical assistance and financial support to reinforcing the industrial cooperation and promoting SME in Morocco. Their cooperation budget has enabled them to stress structural reform programmes in areas such as business climate, public governance, industrial norms transposition, sanitary and phytosanitar. The EU, through, amongst others, the European Investment Bank (EBI) loan and facility of investment for neighbourhood continues to stress the efforts of the Governments to modernise its infrastructure, amongst others, in roads and energy.
The situation is positive. They can commit themselves even further. For them, for him, Africa is a priority. The Mediterranean area is a priority. The goal is to have a great interior market in the Mediterranean area. This will bring them peace, political stability, economic growth. All these factors are linked together. |
