extracts of the vote MEPs voted today on a reform of the Common Fisheries Policy - report from Ulrike RODUST (S&D). This reform aims to end overfishing and set ban discards tackling unemployment at the same time. Overfishing is seen as the worst failure of the CFP, dating from 2002, and that should be renewed by that one, that is to take effect by 2014
