On 20 November, Viviane Reding, EC Vice-President in charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship and MEPs Werner Kuhn (EPP, DE) and Ádám Kosa (EPP, HU), held a press conference on the European Disability Strategy - a new accessibility project. The speakers presented a proposal for improving the communication between the EU institutions and the deaf people. 'This project sends a very important signal because sign language is for a lot of people, their mother tongue', said Viviane Reding.
