Connie Hedegaard, Member of the EC in charge of Climate Action, was visiting Stockholm on 15 November 2012. She visited the company Jernhusen, which is responsible for managing the country's railway stations. The company has developed a process to recover the heat produced by the human body (that of passengers passing through the station) and turn it into energy that will be used, among other things, to heat part of the station.
