||Statement (in FRENCH) by Michel Cretin, Member of the European Court of Auditors, stating that the European Court of Auditors published a report on direct income support for farmers in countries that joined the EU in 2004 and 2007; stating that the system is known under the name "Single Area Payment Scheme"; stating that in 2011, these payments amounted to EUR 5 billion and are expected to reach EUR 7.5 billion in 2013; explaining the characteristics of the Single Area Payment Scheme and supporting the general conclusions drawn following seven years of implementation; speaking on the new provisions envisaged in the CAP.
