00:00:24 SOUNDBITE (French) Jean-Claude JUNCKER, President of the Eurogroup: "This is the last time that I am here before you, but this is not the time for nostalgia, is the time for action". 00:00:12
00:00:36 SOUNDBITE (French) Jean-Claude JUNCKER, President of the Eurogroup: "Sometimes I read reports in which the people who think that they will be my successor, think that things can be done without spending as much time as I spend. Right, things could be done faster, but you will see the results in 6 months if my successor does not take the time to listen to all member states on an equal footing, all the ones who are members of the Eurozone and the ones who are not members of the Eurozone". 00:00:34
00:01:10 SOUNDBITE (French) Jean-Claude JUNCKER, President of the Eurogroup: "All futurologists, especially in the Anglo-Saxon world, thought that in 2012 the Eurozone would collapse. And they've seen that the Eurozone is still there, that Greece, which was supposed to leave the Eurozone, is still a member of it, with vigour and reforms". 00:00:35
00:01:45 SOUNDBITE (French) Jean-Claude JUNCKER, President of the Eurogroup: "Where is the European Economic and Monetary Union heading in the next decades? What is the solidarity that has to exist within the EMU? The Americans and others are asking which way we are heading over the next decades. Well, at the last European Council we only answered very short term questions". 00:00:29
00:02:14 SOUNDBITE (French) Jean-Claude JUNCKER, President of the Eurogroup: "We can't carry on with a system where the Frankfort monetary arm is strong and the economic policy arm is weak. We've been talking about that since 1997, and those who refused then are now the largest voices calling for this idea". 00:00:32
00:02:46 SOUNDBITE (French) Jean-Claude JUNCKER, President of the Eurogroup: "On the social dimension of the EMU there is something that I am keen on; I am convinced that there is a need everywhere in the member states and that we should agree on a minimal social wage. We shouldn't be talking about the social dimension in anything other than very specific terms. So I think we need a basis of social rights for workers, minimal social rights for workers, including of course one essential thing: a minimal wage, a social and legally compulsory minimal wage in the Eurozone member states". 00:00:55
00:03:41 SOUNDBITE (French) Jean-Claude JUNCKER, President of the Eurogroup: "You can't have banking surveillance, on which we've made enormous progress, and not include in you thoughts the resolution mechanism and the deposit guarantee fund". 00:00:19
