||Soundbite by Lada Žigo (in ENGLSIH): I must say this is very important for me, because I am from a small country, and in my country there are no critical approaches, we make no more difference between high and low Literature. Why? Because when Capitalism was installed in Croatia, everybody became mad about success, about money, about everything, and now you have no high literature in daily newspapers, only trendy novels. We are full of those trendy novels and it is not good for writers who want to write something deeper.

||Soundbite by Androulla Vassiliou (in ENGLISH): The book industry is a very important industry in Europe, which not only gets money from us, but it gives back a lot to the DGP (Daily Grammar Practice) of Europe. It contributes a lot to export, it is the second most important export item in the cultural field.
