Participation of Viviane Reding in the debate on the Future of Europe, in Cadiz: extracts from the Townhall Meeting

On 27 September 2012, Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, participated in the first of a series of dialogues with citizens from all walks of life, at the Oratorio de San Felipe Neri, in Cadiz, Spain. Until December 2013, Viviane Reding and the other members of the College of Commissioners will have dialogues across the EU Member States as well as on the internet with the online community. The dialogues will be listening exercises and the Commission expects debates about the concerns and needs of people as well as about the future of the EU by the end of this decade.
