00:00:41 SOUNDBITE (French) Alain LAMASSOURE (EPP, FR) EP rapporteur," The negotiations on the forthcoming budget framework started a few months ago but it's not until the next Council meeting next month that there will be discussion by Heads of State and Governement. The EP resolution based on a proposal by 5 groups and we had a five sixth majority in favor of it. it's very clear and precise and it set out EP redlines in these negotiations and that will be the negotiating mandate which Parliament has just given to Mr SCHULZ for when he meets with EU Council next week and it will also be the terms of reference for the rest of the negotiations . It was then important to be adopted by a large majority? I thank my colleagues. The real negotiation starts now." (applause from the Chamber) 00:00:54
